Katherine Poe

Katherine "Kathy" Marie Poe, 64, of Decatur, died Sunday, October 6, 2013, at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m Friday, October 18, at North Fork Cemetery, Decatur. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Kathy was born January 28, 1949, the daughter of Paul and Dorothy (Atkins) Hultman. She worked as a clerk at Goodwill, and also in the kitchen at Southside Country Club. Kathy loved music and collecting old records. She is survived by her children: Shelly Rae Law (Kenny Brown) and Russell Scott Poe, all of Decatur; grandchildren: Alyssa Nicole Smith of Auburn and Landon Stephen Ray Brown of Decatur; two brothers and one sister of Kansas. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents. "
