June Herring

June Evelyn Herring, 83, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 6:45 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2013, at Fair Havens Christian Home, Decatur. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 21, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown. June was born February 6, 1929, in Argenta, IL, the daughter of Ernest and Pearl (White) Williams. She married Carl Russell Herring on December 13, 1946, in Bearsdale, IL. June was a member of Life Foursquare Church for over 40 years. She most recently attended Glad Tidings Church. She enjoyed crocheting and her flower garden. June is survived by her husband of 66 years, Carl of Decatur, children: Gloria Jeffers and husband John of Anderson, S.C., Patsy Elliott of Mansfield, OH, Rosalyn Rinehart and husband Steve of Urbana, IL, Mark Herring and wife Kim of Riverside, CA, Marshall Herring and Stanley Herring, both of Decatur, IL; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and sisters Mary Beals of Waterloo, IA and Beulah Evans of Monticllo, IL. June was preceded in death by her parents, and five brothers: Clarence, Jasper, Arthur, Dale and Paul Williams. "
