Julie Ghere

Funeral services will be 4:00 P.M. Sunday, October 3, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation two hours prior to service time. Memorials may be made to the family.Julie was born January 22, 1972, in Decatur, the daughter of Jack and Shirley (Merriman) Belcher. She married Duane Ghere November 25, 2000, in Decatur. Julie worked as an accounts representative for Enloe Drugs for two years. She was previously a manager for Dairy Queen at Fairview and King St. for ten years. She was on several bowling leagues, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her daughter, Katy. Julie was also a member of Summit Avenue Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Duane; daughter Katy Ghere; parents Jack and Shirley Belcher; sisters Jackie (James) Larck and Jeannie (Alan) Winter; brothers Jerry (Melisa) Belcher, Jeff (Kim) Belcher, and John Belcher; several nieces and nephews.Julie was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, and her brother, Jim Belcher.
