Judy Lienemann

Judith A. “Judy” Lienemann, 78, of Decatur, passed away peacefully December 8, 2021.A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Judy’s honor may be made to the family and mailed to Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, 2827 N Oakland Ave, Decatur, IL 62526.Judy was born March 4, 1943 in Decatur, the daughter of Charles and Ella Yates. She married Wayne Lienemann on June 11, 1977 in Decatur. He preceded her in death on October 4, 2011. Judy worked in Food Service at MacArthur High School for over 25 years until her retirement and previously worked in housekeeping at a nursing home. Judy was extremely devoted to the Lord and was active as a member of Decatur First Church of the Nazarene where she taught Sunday School for over 35 years and was a leader in the Celebrate Recovery Program.She is survived by her daughter, Lori (David) Osborne of Decatur, IL; son, Michael Douglas of Decatur, IL; grandchildren: April Young (Torrance) of Decatur, IL, Sherry (Timothy) Reimer of Decatur, IL and Robert Douglas of Decatur; great grandchildren: Isaiah Johnston, Nevaeh Rolle, Johnnie Rolle, and Torryn Young.Judy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne; 2 aunts; 1 uncle; and her mother-in-law.
