Judith Jean Oyler, 73, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 5:15 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Heartland Health Care Center. Private family graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, IL. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 14, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Judith was born December 19, 1940, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Don and Kathryn (Hunter) Corn. She married Jerry Oyler on June 27, 1981. He preceded her in death. Judi was a member of First United Methodist Church in Decatur. She formerly worked at Illinois Bell, H&R Block, El Bauer Chevrolet, and Homer L. Chastain Consulting Engineers as an office manager. She enjoyed traveling, bowling with girlfriends on Wednesday evenings, reading and following sporting events. Judith collected clown figurines, pictures and collectible plates. Surviving are her children: Sean Hise of Los Angeles, CA, Erin Matherly of Decatur, IL, Kelly Hise (Jerry Lykins) of Morehead, KY, and Mike (Trisha) Oyler of Bloomington, IL; grandchildren: Luke and Kate Oyler, Liam and Katia Hise, Jerad and Nick Matherly, Kari High, Brandon and Taylor Hodgen; 5 great-grandchildren; sister Donna Parsons of Maysville, KY and her children William, Elizabeth and Jennifer and their families. Judi was preceded in death by her parents and husband Jerry. The family would like to thank Heartland Healthcare and their employees for the tender loving care given to Judith during her 8 year journey. "
