Judith Kay Kelm, 62, of Decatur, IL, entered into eternal glory on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 5, 2015, at 11 A.M. at Pilgrim Lutheran Church with a visitation one hour prior. Pastors Bill and Brock Abbott will officiate. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, is handling the arrangements. Judy was born on April 5, 1952, the daughter of Billie and Edna (Treadaway) Allen. She married Ronald W. Kelm on August 8, 1970 in Decatur. Judy began working at Decatur Day Care Center when she was 16, alongside her mother, grandmothers, and future mother-in-law. She graduated from Lakeview High School in 1971. She continued working at DDCC in various capacities for a total of 46 years, retiring as Head Cook in April of 2014. She was a beloved member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School for over 30 years. She enjoyed being a wife, mother, and especially grandmother. She was kind, generous, and loved by many. She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her mother, Edna Allen; husband, Ron; daughters, Peggy (Steve) Musgrove and Erica (Dave) Bryan, both of Niantic; sister Janet Troby of Mattoon; grandchildren Emily and Steven Musgrove and Will and Josh Bryan, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, mother-in-law, father-in-law, and brother-in-law. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Pastors Bill and Brock Abbott for their kindess and guidance during this time. "
