Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 16, at Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg, IL.Memorials may be made to DMH Cancer Center (Dr. Elliott) or to Boiling Springs Church of God.Judith was born on March 29, 1940, in Decatur, the daughter of Dewey J. and Lillie Faye (Edwards) Bales. She married Stephen Dennee on November 10, 1996.Judith worked at Millikin National Bank as a bank officer, retiring January 5, 1998. She had also worked as a legal secretary for Samuels, Miller, Schroeder, Jackson, & Sly Law Firm. Judith was a member of Boiling Springs Church of God. She was also a member of Home Builders for 27 years. She served on the first board of directors for the original Senior Center on Water Street, served on the Celebration Committee for the 1992-1993 Decatur Celebration. She was an officer over the Senior Club at Millikin National Bank and worked with the United Way. Judith loved spending time with her grandchildren.Surviving are her husband Stephen of Decatur; son Mike Long and wife Renee of Bloomington, IL; daughter Penelope Morris and husband Ron of Oreana, IL; daughter Robin Boils and husband Tom of Decatur, IL; daughter Winnie Keppler and husband Brandon of Warrensburg, IL; son Lance Dennee and wife Samantha of Paducah, KY; son Travis Dennee and wife Perl of Mesa, AZ; and daughter Tiffany Dennee and friend Anthony of Fairfield Bay, AR.
