Judith Kay Brummerstedt, 68, of Mt. Zion, IL, passed away at 9:25 a.m. Thursday, March 12, 2015, in her home. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 4-6 p.m. Monday, March 16, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to: Multiple Sclerosis Society Greater Illinois Chapter, 525 N. Monroe, Suite 900, Chicago, IL 60661. Judith was born March 14, 1946, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Forrest and Betty (Mullikin) Hunt. She married Danny R. Brummerstedt on March 11, 1966, in Decatur, IL. Judith was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church. She worked as a dispatcher for Carry Transportation Company. Surviving are her husband Danny of Mt. Zion, IL; son: Michael Brummerstedt of Mt. Zion, IL; daughter: Lisa (Eric) Rodgers of Decatur, IL; grandchildren: Danielle Brummerstedt, Mackenzie Brummerstedt, Lexi Payne-Brummerstedt, and Carlee Rodgers; step-grandchildren: Adrien Payne, Kyle Rodgers, Karson Rodgers, and Klayton Rodgers; mother-in-law: Marcella Brummerstedt; sisters Becky (John) Forneris of Chatman, IL, Jan (Jerry) Hunt Mamula of Decatur, IL, and Penny (Doug) Hunt Dilbeck of Litchfield, IL. Judith was preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law James Brummerstedt. "
