Juanita Harvey

Juanita McWard Harvey, 95, of Decatur, died Sunday, February 4, 2018, at Lincolnshire Place.Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 8, 2018, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 P.M. at Westlawn Cemetery, Newton, Illinois. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Decatur. Juanita was born December 1, 1922, in Morrisonville, IL at the home of her grandparents. She attended grade school in Clarksdale, high school in Taylorville, and Browns Business College in Springfield. Juanita was employed five years at the Internal Revenue Service in Springfield and Illinois Power Company in Decatur for 20 years. She married Willoughby H. Harvey from Newton, IL in Springfield on August 17, 1947. He preceded her in death October 12, 1997. Juanita was a member of First United Methodist Church in Decatur and Eastern Star.She is survived by her brothers, Donald McWard and wife Shirley of Owaneco; Lyle McWard of Decatur; and Larry McWard and wife Connie of Morrisonville; numerous nieces and nephews. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant brother Harold, and sisters Irma Bryan and Betty Jo Ward. The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses and staff at Lincolnshire Place. "
