Juanita Ruth Harper, 93, of Decatur, IL, died 2:40 P.M., Friday, May 7, 2010, at McKinley Court Care Center, Decatur, IL.Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday (05-11-2010) at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home.Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Cerro Gordo Cemetery, Cerro Gordo, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home are handling the arrangements.Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church.Juanita was born February 24, 1917, in Clinton, IL, the daughter of Robert and Eunice (Welch) Duncan. She married Alvin Lyle Bud Harper in 1940 in Bowling Green, MO. He preceded her in death on July 11, 1994.Juanita was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.She is survived by her son Robert (Flo) Harper of Decatur, IL; grandson Jeffrey Harper of St. Louis, MO; granddaughter Jennifer Schaal and husband Jason of St. Louis, MO; great grandchildren Lane Marie Harper, Ethan and Hailee Schaal, brother Robert Duncan of Oreana, IL; sisters Leta McNalley of Oregon, and Martha Schuerman of Decatur, IL; and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, and two sisters.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com "
