Juanita J. Berry, 88, of Decatur, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2021. Graveside services will be held at a later date, when it is safe to gather and celebrate Juanita’s life. Memorials in Juanita’s honor may be made to: Alzheimer’s Association, 2309 W White Oaks Dr, Suite E, Springfield, IL 62704. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, is assisting the family. Juanita was born December 2, 1932 in Waynesville, IL, the daughter of Frank A. and Helen M. (Rich) Fox. She married Donald D. Berry on August 31, 1979 at Boiling Springs Church of God in Decatur. He preceded her in death on March 30, 2020. Juanita loved to cook and owned two restaurants, the Wyckles Café and DJ Café, both in Decatur. She also enjoyed camping, crocheting, doing needlepoint, and woodcrafts. She especially liked music and played the keyboard and violin. Juanita was a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, sister and grandmother. She is survived by her children: Charles (Vickie) Miller of Westervelt, Robert Miller of Indiana, Craig A. (Peggy) Miller of Missouri, Judy A. (Rick) Beals of Ohio, and James Miller of Decatur; 18 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; siblings: Sharon Strode of Decatur, Frank Fox of Belleville; and Steve (Jean) Fox of Gibson City. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; three grandchildren: Aaron, Raymond and Kathy; four sisters and one brother. "
