Joyce Louise Fisher, 68, of Warrensburg, IL, died at her home on Thursday, May 27, 2010.Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 5 to 7 P.M., Monday, May 31, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg, IL. Memorials may be made to Decatur Memorial Hospital Hospice.Joyce was born February 27, 1942, the daughter of Arthur Joseph and Mary Alice Stephenson. Joyce graduated from Warrensburg-Latham High School Class of 1960. She married Douglas Fisher on June 15, 1963 in Decatur, IL.Joyce was a homemaker and her family and friends loved her home cooking. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was very active in all her grandchildrens lives. She was an avid sports fan so it gave her great pride to go watch her grandkids participate in their sporting events.Joyce is survived by her husband Douglas; her sister Patricia Bryant and husband Tom; her son Stephen Fisher and wife Laura; her daughter Tami Rhodes and fianc Shay Bruns; and her daughter Angela Johnston and husband Brent; seven grandchildren Kristopher and Nicholas Fisher, Savannah and Tyler Rhodes, Hayden and Aspen Bruns and Holly Johnston. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Geneva Fisher; brother-in-laws David (Sue) Fisher, Galen (Sandy) Fisher, Kevin Fisher; and sister-in-law Mary Ann (Lonnie) Reed; nephews Tom (Dana) Bryant, Patrick (Kelli) Bryant, Ryan (Cindy) Burns, Troy (Suzie) Fisher, Corey Fisher and her nieces Kim and Jackie Fisher.She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Carolyn Burns.
