Joyce Eddinger

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 21, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Decatur.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to L.S.A. or Concordia Lutheran Church. Joyce was born on November 22, 1931, in Bechtelsville, PA, the daughter of Lester Wilson and Laura Sara (Miller) Schott. She married John E. Eddinger on September 2, 1950 in Maryland. He preceded her in death.Joyce was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. She worked at Great American (knitting mill) for three years in Bechtelsville then worked for Firestone in Decatur for five years as a data processor. Joyce enjoyed cooking, playing cards and spending time with her family.Surviving are her son John M. Eddinger and wife Robin; daughter Roxanne L. Tangney and husband Dennis, all of Decatur; grandchildren Brandi Holtzscher and husband David, Brooke Ragan and husband Sean, Julie Gordley and husband Jade, Jennifer Eddinger, Jason Eddinger and wife Bobbi, all of Decatur; great-grandchildren Bianca, Ian, Ethan, Eli; sister Lucille Gincley and husband Ronald of Bechtelsville; and special friends Bob and Martha McNulty of Decatur.
