Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, December 11, 2010, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Visitation will be 4 to 7 P.M., Friday, December 10, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with Eastern Star services at 7:00 P.M., conducted by the Illini Chapter #813. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Eastern Star Home in Macon, IL.Joyce was born June 26, 1935, in Granite City, IL, the daughter of Henry Carl and Esther Charolette (Finner) Harmeier. She married Darrell D. Coon on December 17, 1983 in Granite City, IL.Joyce was a member of South Shores United Methodist Church. She loved playing bingo, bowling, golfing, traveling and taking pictures. She especially loved visiting with family and friends and her grandchildren. Joyce was a member of the Eastern Star Illini Chapter #813.She is survived by her husband Darrell of Decatur, IL; children Robert Wilson of Staunton, IL, Cathy (Rick) Mottin of St. Charles, MO, Patty (Bary) Mason of Wood River, IL, Diana (Dave) Peters of Worden, IL, Rick (Janice) Wilson of Decatur, IL; stepchildren Cathy (Rick) Anderson of Decatur, IL, Darrell Coon, Jr. of Decatur, IL, Doug (Michelle) Coon of Indianapolis, IN, Daniel (Melissa) Coon of Decatur, IL; sister Lucille Robinson of Collinsville, IL; grandchildren Andrea, Courtney, Michele, Adam, Aaron, Sean, Alexandra, Brooke; step grandchildren Travis, Jared, Hilary, Lindsay, Aaron, Boston, Dalton; 5 great grandchildren, 1 step great great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Henry Carl, Jr. Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com "
