Josephine C. (Claudin) Vollmer, 93, of Decatur, IL, formerly of East Peoria, IL, died 1:30 A.M., Sunday, June 12, 2011, at McKinley Court, Decatur, IL.Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M., Tuesday, June 14, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M., Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Fon Du Lac Cemetery, East Peoria, IL.Josephine was born February 17, 1918, in Bartonville, IL, the daughter of Edward and Martha Claudin. She married Carl Vollmer in February 1937 in Morton, IL. He preceded her in death in September 1990.Josephine was a member of Boiling Springs Church of God, Decatur, IL.She is survived by her children Jerry (Sylvia) Vollmer of San Antonio, TX; Myrna (William) Coins of Decatur, IL; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl, two sisters, and granddaughter Tamy.We, the family, would like to thank McKinley Court Nursing Home and staff for all their loving care they gave to our mother during her stay with them.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com "
