Bryan, 40, of Decatur, IL, died 8:48 A.M., Friday, October 24, 2008, at Genesis Medical Center, Davenport, Iowa.Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 6 to 8 P.M., Wednesday, October 29, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield, IL.Memorials may be made to The Jon E. Bryan Fund, c/o Soy Capital Bank.Jonathan was born September 6, 1968, in Fort Worth, TX, the son of Gary Edward, Sr. and Barbara (Bullock) Tomlinson Bryan. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan, enjoyed watching Joyce Meyer Ministries and was a member of Celebrate Recovery Group.He is survived by his children Dallas Bryan of Chatham, IL, Justice Mester of Athens, IL; mother Barbara Tomlinson and husband Mike of Decatur, IL; father Gary Bryan, Sr. and wife Brenda of Mechanicsburg, IL; sisters Lori Hoback and husband Jim of Decatur, IL, Lisa Moss and husband Alfanzo of Rockville, MD; half-sister Rachel and husband Jordan; step-brother Eric Tomlinson and wife Heather of Auburn, WA; step-sisters Gina Tomlinson and Kellie Bennett of Decatur, IL; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, brother Gary Edward Bryan, Jr. and two nieces.
