John L. Shaw, 67, of Decatur, passed away December 16, 2022 at his home.
At his request, no services will be held. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, is assisting the family.
John was born July 6, 1955 in Bradley, IL the son of William L. and Virginia Mae (Barr) Shaw. He worked as a DJ at various radio stations. John had a genuine love of music from listening to playing music and attending concerts. He also enjoyed fishing.
John is survived by his brother, Robert Shaw and wife Barbara of Decatur; sister, Linda Walan of Naperville; and a son, Taylor Deetz of Decatur.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Virginia Mae Shaw; and a sister, Martha Shaw.
