John Roy Critchelow, 68, of Decatur, IL, passed away Monday, November 11, 2024.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM, Friday, November 15, 2024, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, November 15, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Decatur, IL.

John was born October 10, 1956 in Decatur, IL, the son of Samuel Roy and Maxine (Thompson) Critchelow. He worked at GSI building grain bins, loved listening to Country and Gospel music and was an expert at playing the harmonica. John attended Life Builders Church of God, Decatur. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

John is survived by his siblings: Linda (Jerry) Hubbard of Georgetown, IN, Sharon (Glen) Saunders of Decatur, Paula (Patrick) McCoy of Decatur.

John was preceded in death by his parents, two longtime companions Pat McDuffy, and Judy Patterson.
