John Michael Cambruzzi, 59, of Decatur, IL, passed away Tuesday, September, 6, 2016, in his home surrounded by his family. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with Memorial visitation from 2:00 p.m. until service time. John was born September 5, 1957 at Scott Air Force Base, Belleville, IL, son of John Victor and Glynda (Flitcroft) Cambruzzi. He married Linda Thompson on June 6, 1998 in Decatur. John worked his life career at Mueller Company, retiring as a machinist, and was a member of USW Local 7-838. John was an avid hunter, hunting duck and geese. He also enjoyed playing pool and was an A.C.S. member and previous A.P.A. member. Surviving are his wife: Linda Cambruzzi of Decatur; previous wife: Vickie Cambruzzi; children: Tara Thompson and her daughter Totyana; Mindy (Jeff) Thomas and family Samantha, Michael and Matthew; Mark Miller, Jr.; John (Crystal) Cambruzzi and family Tré, John, Aliya, and Chase, all of Decatur, IL; Tina (Marcus) Mason and family Kobe, Marcus Jr., and Malik of Arlington, TX; Tina Cambruzzi and family Darnell, Derriona, DaeVontae, DaMiyah of Decatur, IL; sisters Mary Ann (Mike) Jenner of Decatur, IL, Debra (Mark) Soebbing of Urbana, IL, and Elizabeth (David) Davis of Phoenix, AZ; and step mother Peg Cambruzzi and husband Larry Morris of Decatur, IL. John was preceded in death by his parents and son Brandon Cambruzzi. "
