Joann Creason

Joann B. Creason, 85, of Decatur passed away July 14, 2018 at Generations at McKinley Court.Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, July 20 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery. Memorials in Joann’s honor may be made to Heartland Community Church.Joann was born December 14, 1932 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Carl A and Emma (Bialeschki) Hill. She married William D. Coffman and he preceded her death. She later married Ireland “Sonny” Creason and he also preceded her in death. Joann retired as a supervisor for Millikin National Bank/Magna Bank after 25 years of service. She enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Decatur Quilting Guild. Joann was also a member of Heartland Community Church.She is survived by her children, Carolyn McClure of Forsyth, Bobbie White of Lafayette, IN, Candie Coffman or Hartford, WI, and Barb Coffman of Celeste, TX; grandchildren, Shannon Weaver of Decatur, Stephanie Brock of Mt. Zion, George White of Lafayette, IN, Tom White of Lafayette, IN, Bradley Coffman of Garland, TX, Brice Coffman of Garland, TX, Shawn White of Oconomowoc, WI, Doug White of Green Bay, WI, and Scott Coffman of Hartford, WI; and numerous great-grandchildren.Joann was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, William Coffman and Sonny Creason; sons, Larry and Bret Coffman and one brother.Condolences and memories may be shared with the family in care of Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes at www.brintlingerandearl.com "
