Joann Collins, 78, of Decatur, IL, died 10:23 P.M., Monday, October 24, 2011, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 28, 2011, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 6 to 8 P.M., Thursday, October 27, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to "Come Together, Let's Walk". Joann was born December 15, 1932 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Angelo and Nellie (Roppa) Endrizzi. She married Donald O. Collins on August 11, 1950 in Decatur, IL. Joann worked for G.E. Factory for a short time before becoming a full time homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, and especially loved watching her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Donald of Decatur, IL; daughters Donna Meachum and husband Kevin of Decatur, IL, Mary Collins of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Dakota Allen, Kaitlyn Meachum, Taylor Collins, all of Decatur, IL; sister Norma Gilbert of Decatur, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Jean. "
