Jimmy Baldwin

Jimmy “Jim” Lee Baldwin, 76, of Oreana, IL, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur. Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Jim was born December 2, 1943, in Danville, IL, son of William Leo and Flora Kathryn (Prater) Baldwin. He married Sylvia Kintzel in August 1965, in Warsaw, IN. Jim retired from GMAC after more than 35 years of service, settling in Spring City, TN where he and Sylvia owned and operated Baldwin Reality for 12 years before moving to Oreana to be closer to their son. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sylvia of Oreana, and son William David Baldwin and wife Joan of Decatur. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and sister Joyce Jean. "
