Jeremy Jones

Jeremy was born on February 8, 1973, the oldest son of the late Rick and Denise (Klingaman) Jones. He graduated from Mt. Zion High School in 1991. He lettered in football, basketball, and baseball and was deemed the best nine-toed kicker in the state by his football coach. Jeremy married Lisa Dukeman on December 17, 1993 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Decatur, IL. Together, they had three boys: Tyler, Jaron, and Tristin. Jeremy worked as a branch manager for Orkin, Inc. in the Decatur, IL, Indianapolis-area, and Columbia, SC, offices. He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing golf.Visitation will be at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL on Friday, July 2 from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Saturday, July 3 at 10:00 am followed by interment at Point Pleasant Cemetery in Long Creek, IL. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Patricia (Kline) and Hubert Jones, his mother, Denise L. Jones, and his father, Rick D. Jones, and his cousin Derrick Rushing. He is survived by his wife, Lisa (Dukeman) Jones, stepson, Tyler Bridgman, sons Jaron and Tristin Jones, stepmother, Patty (Eichenauer) Jones and siblings, Ricky (Diedre) Jones, Melissa (Ryan) Wuellner, and Jake Jones, maternal grandparents, Ruth (Claudin) Pace, and Dean and Donna Klingaman, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
