Jennifer Ann (Bradford) Kareotes, 81, of Decatur, died Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at Imboden Creek Living Center. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 6, at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. Visitation will be 5-8 P.M. Sunday, November 5, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, with a trisagion service at 7:00 P.M. The Reverend Father David Eynon will officiate. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.Jennifer was born October 10, 1936, in Decatur, the daughter of Archie and Edna (Briscoe) Bradford. She married Milton Kareotes May 1, 1960, in Decatur. He preceded her in death in 2005. Jennifer was a homemaker and also sold Stanley Home Products. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and enjoyed entertaining and playing bunko. Jennifer was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Philoptochos Society, the Decatur Women’s Club, and her Bunko Group. Jennifer is survived by her daughters, who were known to her as her “four queens”, Dena (Jon) Arendt of Clarendon Hills, Athena (Tim) Rich of Decatur, Daphne Langford of Decatur, and Maleea Kareotes of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Alexandria Arendt, Alexander Rich, Andrew Langford, Kristina Langford, Zackery Tortorice, Jordan Chatman, DeVante Hill, and Maranda Chatman; beloved brother, Roger Bradford and wife Linda; 4 nieces, 2 nephews and 9 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Milton.
