CUSTOM DEATH NOTICE Jeanne E. Vighi, 85, of Decatur, IL, died 2:30 P.M., Monday, July 6, 2009, at Manor Court in Clinton, IL.Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 11, 2009, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Decatur, IL. Visitation will be 5 to 7 P.M., Friday, July 10, 2009, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M. in Calvary Cemetery, Nokomis, IL. Memorials may be made to the Illinois School for the Deaf or for Memorial Masses in memory of Jeanne.Jeanne was born April 13, 1924, in Chillicothe, IL, the daughter of Noah and Rose (Herridge) Sanders. She married Louis J. Vighi on January 22, 1949 in Kankakee, IL. He preceded her in death.Jeanne was a homemaker for many years and then began working for St. Marys Hospital starting in Housekeeping and promoted to Apprentice Pharmacists. She enjoyed doing needlepoint and puzzles. Jeanne was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.She is survived by her son Robert L. Vighi of Carol Stream, IL; granddaughter Sara Leary of Decatur, IL; grandson Bart Vighi of Farmersville, IL; great grandson Kegan Mahon of Decatur, IL; great granddaughters Aaliyah Vighi and Lilee Vighi, both of Farmersville, IL.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Louis, son Paul Vighi, brothers James Calder and Robert W.
