Jannatta Rokosh

Jannatta F. "Nean" Rokosh, 85, of Decatur, IL, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2014, at Fair Havens Christian Home. Visitation will be from 1-2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, followed by graveside services at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Jannatta was born September 10, 1928, in Johnson, IL, the daughter of Arthur M. and Clossie May (Clutts) Beggs. She married Raymond G. Rokosh on February 5, 1947, in Sullivan, IL. He preceded her in death. Jannatta started working for Kresge Corp in 1955, later working for Kmart in Mt. Zion, IL, and retired in 1993 after 38 years of service as a sales clerk. Surviving are her son: Fred Dean Rokosh; one grandson; brother: John E. Beggs of Decatur; sisters: Dorothy Finlay of Paris, Ky; Alice Gilman of Decatur; Shirley Bridge of Decatur; Lona (Bill) Stuckey of Decatur; Julia (Larry) Lanter; and several nieces and nephews. Jannatta was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers: Donald, Leo and Arthur; brothers-in-law: Ed, Gene and Sam; and sister-in-law: Margaret. "
