Jan Patrick

Jan Noble Patrick, 79, of Decatur, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at St. Mary’s Hospital.Graveside services will be 12:30 P.M. Friday, March 9, at Fairlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. until service time at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Jan was born May 15, 1938, in Danville, the daughter of Henry L. and Ruth B. (Thompson) Hachat. She married Burton Patrick on November 23, 1963 in Decatur. He preceded her in death in 2002. Jan was an accountant for Decatur Aviation and an operator for Illinois Bell Telephone. She enjoyed bowling and was an avid U of I basketball fan. Jan enjoyed traveling and taking cruises, and was a member of Central Christian since 1974.She is survived by her sons, John Patrick of Decatur, and Michael Patrick of Oakbrook; sister-in-law, Helen Wells of Decatur; niece, Karolyn (Jim) of Chicago; nephews John Garver and family of Pennsylvania and David Garver and family of Virginia.Jan was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
