Jan Brady

Jan Brady, 65, of Decatur, passed away April 13, 2022 surrounded by her family. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Memorials in Jan’s honor may be made to the family on the Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home website.Jan was born July 30, 1956 in Memphis, TN, the daughter of Vernon K and Patricia (Benthall) Galbreath. She married Lewis Brady, Jr. on March 11, 1977 in Watseka, IL. He preceded her in death on July 26, 2011. Before her retirement, Jan worked in the cafeteria in schools in Memphis. She enjoyed playing her tablet, bingo, and her puppies and cat. Jan most loved time spent with her grandkids. She loved to talk.She is survived by her children: Crystal Grill of Decatur, Lewis Brady III (April) of Decatur, and Phil Jordan, Sr. (Amanda) of Decatur; 18 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Steve Galbreath of Memphis, TN; sister, Elizabeth Lane of Decatur; and many nieces and nephews.Jan was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lewis Brady, Jr.; and sister, Teresa Critchelow.Condolences and memories may be shared with the family in care of Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes at www.brintlingerandearl.com.
