James A. Wilson, 87, of Decatur, died Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Fair Havens Christian Home.Per his wishes, a graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 5, at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice of charities. James was born October 18, 1929 in Uniontown, Kentucky, the son of John Andrew and Virginia (Wright) Wilson. John worked as a stock clerk at Gazzolo Drug Company. He is survived by his nieces: Jo Ellen Cairns (Phil Tucker) of Decatur, Judy Ann Burkett of Decatur, Trena Briscoe-Martin (Michael) of Flora, Kathy (Bud) Duffer of Decatur, and Karen Sue Kozak of Blue Mound; nephew Andy (Anne) Burkett of Edwardsville; many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. "
