James L. Lynn, 68, of Decatur, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2024.
A Celebration of James’ Life will be 12:00 - 4:00 PM, Saturday, March 9, 2024 in Urbana.
James was born November 14, 1955 in Champaign, the son of Addie Lynn. He worked for over 20 years as a cook at Perkins Restaurant and Bakery in Champaign. He enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with his family.
Surviving are his siblings: Patricia Lynn of Crowley, TX, Marques Lynn of Decatur and Alphonso Lynn of Decatur; and many nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his mother; and brothers, Carlos and Kenneth Lynn.
