James "Jimm" W. Clark, 48, of Amboy, IL, formerly of Forsyth, IL, died unexpectedly Sunday, June 8, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, June 13, 2014, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, with Pastor Joe Bowman officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Jimm was born December 31, 1965 in Decatur, IL, the son of Harold and Barbara (Sarver) Clark. He attended Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri. Presently employed by Carmike Theaters, he was the general manager of the Sauk Valley Theaters in Sterling, IL, and previously theaters in Forsyth, IL and Champaign, IL. Jimm had also worked for Jumer's Hotels, managing several locations. He was devoted to his dogs, "Molly" and "Precious", affectionately referred to as "his girls." Jimm brought life and a good spirit to all those he met. He will be missed by all. He is survived by his life partner: Brian Welch of Amboy, IL; Jimm's mother: Barbara Clark, of Forsyth, IL; Brian's parents: James and Mary Welch, and Brian's son Tayler; Jimm's sister: Julia Clark of Forsyth, IL; brother: Ted (Dawn) Clark of Forsyth, IL; sister: Teresa (John) Norman of Forsyth, IL; sister Linda ("Big Mike") Drabing of Decatur, IL; sister: Tracy Clark of Forsyth, IL; 5 nieces, 1 nephew, 3 great-nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, 3 aunts, 2 uncles. "
