Jacqueline E. White (Jacque), of Decatur, 91, died Sunday, January 6, 2019 in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, at Holy Family Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church. Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Jacque was born in Decatur, July 8, 1927 to Alvin and Alice (Reese) Dresback. She attended Decatur High School. Jacque married Eugene D. Dieckhoff. He preceded her in death. She married Billy M. White in 1980. Jacque retired from Illinois Power Company after 27 ½ years. After her retirement she volunteered at the American Red Cross with the blood program. She was a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Elks Ladies Auxiliary. Jacque was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church where she was a greeter and helped with the funeral luncheons. Jacque was an avid golfer, enjoyed quilting with the Kiwanian ladies, flower gardening, bowling in her younger years, and reading. She is survived by her beloved children, Kathy York of Decatur and David Dieckhoff of Foley, AL; grandchildren, Melanie Binder of Forsyth, and Amy (Shane) Brilley of Decatur; four great-grandchildren, Elizabeth (Lizzy) York, Cayden and Christian Brilley and Livia Binder; and step-son, David White. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Eugene and Billy, step-daughter Sheila McClain, son-in-law Robert York, sisters Norma Jean Neuendorf and Catherine Conway.
