Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 12, 2010, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation from 5 to 7 P.M., Friday, June 11, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association or Catholic Charities of Decatur.Bill was born June 27, 1925, in Decatur, IL, to John H. and Verna Elizabeth (Price) Peck. He married Marylyn Prott on April 4, 1948. Bill served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years, retiring in 1973, and later worked for the Decatur School District. Bill was a member of the Masonic Ionic Lodge #312 A.F. & A.M. of Decatur for 57 years. He enjoyed his family and working in the yard.He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marylyn of Decatur, IL; daughter Sheri Doak of Nashville, TN; son Dwight Peck and wife Della of Macon, IL; grandchildren Andrew and Timmy Doak, Austin and Kayla Peck; brothers Robert (Nancy) Peck of Decatur, IL, Richard (Marilyn) Peck of Cookeville, TN, James (Susanne) Peck of Decatur, IL, Thomas (Janet) Peck of Ellisville, MO; sisters Mary Jordan of Decatur, IL, Patricia (Richard) Warnick of Monticello, IL; sister-in-law Lorna Peck of Mattoon, IL; brother-in-law Bobby Keenan of Decatur, IL.He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Vern and Hugh, sisters Janet Keenan and Shirley Price. "
