Jack Lehew

Jack Allen LeHew, age 81, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 in Tampa.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. CST Thursday, August 24, 2017, at La Place Cemetery, La Place, IL. In lieu of flowers, as Jack was an avid dog lover, memorials may be made to: The Humane Society.Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home in Decatur, IL are handling the arrangements.

Jack was born on August 24, 1935 in Decatur, Illinois, the son of Arnold and Ola (Weakley) LeHew. He married Sharon (Palmer Tucker) on August 26, 1983. A graduate of Mt. Zion High School, Jack worked a number of years with E K Williams and Company, then owned his own accounting business, Jack A. LeHew and Company, until he retired. His happiest moments were when he was on the golf course. He also treasured times spent with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon LeHew of Tampa, FL; daughters: Diane (Clark) McAdams of Wethersfield, CT and Teena (Rich Read) Funk of Godfrey, IL; son: Rick (Kim) LeHew of Brimfield, IL; step-children: John (Natalie Kafer) Tucker of Hoover, AL; Steve (Mary) Tucker of Champaign, IL; Tim Tucker of Hoover, AL; and Tami (Joe) Miller of Queen Creek, AZ; grandchildren: Shannon Castellanos of Bethalo, IL; Jennifer (Eric) Ahrens of Wethersfield, CT; Nathan (Kristin) Gerdes of Sioux Falls, SD; Donny (Amy Wuellner) Funk of Alton, IL; and Zofia LeHew of Brimfield, IL; step-grandchildren: Jami (Ryan) Powers, David Tucker, Nick Tucker, Brandi Tucker, Tyler Tucker, and Allie Tucker; 6 great-grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: LeRoy LeHew and Louise (LeHew) Kelly. " }
