Jack L. Johnson, 85, of Decatur, IL, died 1:14 P.M., Monday, March 18, 2013, at Imboden Creek Living Center, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 22, at Central United Methodist Church, Decatur, IL, with visitation 5 to 7 P.M., Thursday, March 21, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church. Jack was born in Maroa, IL, the son of John Jesse and LeNora Louise (Lienhart) Johnson. He married Shirley Ruth Richhart on June 12, 1948 in Decatur, IL. Jack was a member of Central United Methodist Church. He worked for ITT for approx 40 years, retiring in the early 90's. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a U.S. Navy veteran. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Shirley of Decatur, IL; children Michael Johnson and wife Annalee of Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX, Kathy Gentry and husband Steven of Decatur, IL, Eric Johnson and wife Chris of Midland, MI; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. "
