Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 8, 2008, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5-7 P.M. Friday, March 7, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery, with military rites conducted by Macon County Honor Guard.Memorials may be made to the Second Church of God. Rev. Duncan was born September 1, 1931, in Herrin, IL, the son of George Wayne Duncan and Luvenia Marie Fustin. He graduated from South Fork Community High School in Kincaid, IL, on June 1, 1949. He then served in the United States Navy for four years, and was honorably discharged March 19, 1953. In 1957 he attended a student ministerial course. On April 26, 1966, he temporarily pastored West Decatur Church of God. Also, in 1966, he pastored for 7 1/2 years at Lodge Church of God. On May 12, 1967, he received his ordination. Starting in March 1978, he pastored Stone Street Church of God for 24 years. Rev. Duncan retired from the ministry on May 5, 2002. Since his retirement, he attended the Second Church of God. Rev. Duncan was employed by the Decatur School District from January 16, 1956 until he retired July 1, 1992. He married Beatrice Ann Law July 12, 1976, in Charleston, IL. She preceded him in death February 24, 2007. Rev. Duncan will once again be with his wonderful loving wife, who was not only a friend, but his trustworthy companion in all ways. Rev. Duncan is survived by his daughter D. Jane Fairbanks and husband Jimmy R. of Lincoln, IL; grandson Jack R. Maple of Lincoln, IL; great granddaughter Adylynn Jane Maple of Clinton, IL. He was preceded in death by his wife Beatrice Ann, stepson Willard Dale Grubbs, father George Wayne Duncan, mother Luvenia Marie Fustin, and stepmother Alice Jane Duncan.We would like to offer our love, appreciation and a very special thanks to Bob, Sharon, and Sarah Ewing, Rev.
