Visitation: 5:00 PM on July 11, 2011 Funeral: 10:00 AM on July 12, 2011 Jack Lee Campbell,Sr., 75, of Decatur, died 10:25 AM, Friday, July 8, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital. Funeral service will be 10 AM Tuesday July 12, 2011 at South Shores Christian Church. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Monday evening July 11, 2011, at South Shores Christian Church. Burial will be at Mt Gilead Cemetery with military rites. Casual attire has been requested. Memorials: South Shores Christian Church. Jack was born February 27, 1936 in Decatur, IL, the son of his loving parents, Edith and Oscar Campbell. He married Dorothy V. Shafer on February 14, 1959, in Decatur, IL. Jack was an Air Force Veteran. He retired from ADM as a millwright serving the company for 25 years. Surviving Jack are his wife Dorothy; son, Jackie Lee, Jr; sisters, Janet Root and husband Bud of Jordan, AR, Sue Landers and husband Bob of Decatur, IL; brothers, Bob Campbell and wife, Carol of Decatur, Jerry Campbell of Decatur, Paul Campbell of Cowden, IL; brother-in-laws, Jim Shafer and wife Carol of Decatur, Ronald Shafer of Decatur, Jr. Shafer of Decatur, Jerome Shafer and wife Dee Dee of Decatur, Rodger Shafer and wife Carla of Decatur, Lee Isaacs of Mt Zion, IL; sister in laws, Shirley Nash and husband Jim of Decatur, Sharon Bilbrey of Decatur, Marilyn Hensen of Decatur and a host of nieces and nephews.
