Rev. Jack Braundmeier, 83, of Decatur, died 2:35 AM, Sunday May 24, 2009 at Lincoln Manor.Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday May 28, 2009 at Parkway Church of the Nazarene. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 PM, Wednesday May 27, 2009 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Burial will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens, Peoria, Il.Memorials have been suggested to the Building Fund of Parkway Church of the Nazarene.Rev. Braundmeier was born February 9, 1926 in Edwardsville, IL, the son of Herman and Anna (McDole) Braundmeier. He married Barbara A. Duttarer, December 31, 1948 in Peoria, IL. He was a Nazarene minister for 43 years.As a student, Rev. Braundmeier served in Sheridan, IL and Fairbury, IL. Then as a pastor he served at Dwight, IL; Canton, IL; Champaign, IL; E. Peoria, IL; and Richland Center, in Wisconsin. He then became a member of the staff at Parkway Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Braundmeier also worked as a watchmaker for both Carson Jewelry and Bells Jewelry for many years.Surviving are his wife Barbara, and three sons James E. (wife, Debra) Braundmeier of Decatur; John C. Braundmeier of Watseka; Timothy M. (wife, Cathy) Braundmeier of Lititz, PA; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Rev.
