Ivah Pauline Self, 90, of Cerro Gordo, IL, formerly of Longview, TX, passed away at 12:36 p.m. Monday, February, 25, 2013. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at Peck Cemetery, Oakley, IL. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 1, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home in Cerro Gordo, IL. Memorials may be made to Evangelical Wesley Methodist Church, Columbus, IN. Ivah was born April 25, 1922 in Cerro Gordo, IL, the daughter of Marsh and Josie (Peck) Mills. She married William Holland Self in September 26, 1944. He preceded her in death on July 23, 1999. Ivah was a member of Evangelical Wesley Methodist in Columbus, IN. She was a substitute teacher and wife of a pastor. Surviving are her son Paul H. (Myra) Self of Longview, TX; grandchildren Kristy (Keith) Johnson of Tyler, TX and Jason (Christy) Self; great-grandchildren Joshua Self, Aiden Self, Katrina Johnson, and Kyle Johnson; nephews Harold Mills, John Mills, and David Bower; and nieces Mary Ann (Willard) Hillenburg, Elnora H. Hanaver, Martha E. Lynch, and Nancy Jo Carle; and several great nieces and nephews. Ivah was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and three sisters. "
