Ivadean Mowry

A funeral service will be conducted 1:30 PM, Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 - 8 PM at the funeral home. Memorials have been suggested to the charity of the donors choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home.Ivadean was born April 15, 1921 in Findlay, IL, the daughter of Emaline Burkhead. She married Edwin E. Mowry November 23, 1938 in St. Louis, MO and in February 1991 he preceded her in death. Ivadean worked as a machine operator at Marvel Schebler for 33 years. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and also loved gardening and cooking.Ivadean is survived by her three sons Gary E. Mowry of Decatur, Larry Ed Mowry and wife Helen of Clanton, Alabama, Eric C. Mowry and wife Holly of Decatur; three brothers, nine grandchildren, and fivegreat-grandchildren.Also preceding in death are her parents; one daughter, Susan Jill; one brother; two sisters; one granddaughter, Erin; and two daughter-in-laws.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com "
