Isabel Stinnett

Isabel Stinnett, 86, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 10:57 a.m. Friday, March 28, at Decatur Memorial Hospital. A Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 6-8:00PM at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to the family. Isabel was born July 20, 1927, in Illiopolis, IL, the daughter of David Shelby and California (Redman) Warnick. She married Roger W. Stinnett in 1946. He preceded her in death in 1980. Isabel was a member of Latham Christian Church. She previously worked as a waitress at Lum's restaurant. Surviving are her sons: Steve Watkins and wife Kathy of Texas, John Stinnett and wife Terry of Bethany, IL, and David Stinnett and wife Brenda of Decatur, IL; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson Devin Thomas; one sister, Robin Russell and husband Frank of Cape Girardeau, MO, and one brother Dennis Warnick and wife Sandy of Springfield, IL. Isabel was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roger, children Connie Hoots, Mike Stinnett, one granddaughter Hope, and two brothers, Bob and Ted Warnick. "
