Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 26, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Monday, August 25, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery, Blue Mound, IL.Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association of Illinois.Ina was born February 18, 1930, in Brownstown, IL, the daughter of Jessie and Hazel (Nowlin) Durbin. She married Thomas Leon OBrien on April 22, 1950, in Decatur.Ina was formerly a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Decatur. She was a quilter and especially loved fishing for Crappie.Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Thomas of Decatur; sons David Leon OBrien and wife Cindy of Decatur, IL, Thomas Patrick OBrien and wife Lisa of Clayton, IN; daughter Sharon K. Carlson of Decatur, IL; ten grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother Elvin Durbin of Decatur, IL; and sister Mrs. Nick (Elma) Pallone of Decatur, IL.Ina was preceded in death by her parents, son Danny OBrien, one grandson, one great grandchild, four brothers and one sister.
