Ila A. Jeschawitz, 91, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 5:00 a.m. Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Fair Havens Christian Home. Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorial services will be held at a later date at Glendale Cemetery, Filmore, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, is assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Ila was born September 27, 1919, in Bingham, IL, the daughter of Floyd S. and Zora B. (Turnbow) Blaylock. She married Roland Kloever in Filmore, IL. They divorced and she later married William Jeschawitz in Decatur. They both preceded her in death. Ila attended Concordia Lutheran Church. She worked at Carson Pirie Scott for 20 years as a buyer. She loved reading books, working crossword puzzles, playing Bingo and cards, and enjoyed eating out with family and co-workers. Surviving are her daughter Phyllis Mills and husband Cary of Decatur; brother Richard Blaylock and wife Joan who came to visit each year and stayed a month with Ila; daughter-in-law Susan Kloever of AZ; sister-in-law Mary Belle Blaylock of Decatur; grandsons Steve, Scott, Todd, Rief and Mark; great-grandchildren Scott, Jennie, Taylor, and Brianna. Ila was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, son Roger A. Kloever, granddaughter Kim Dixon, brothers Emery and Denver Blaylock, and sister Nita Donaldson. "
