Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 31, 2008, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 4 to 6 P.M., Tuesday, December 30, 2008, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to Salvation Army.Ida was born August 2, 1927 in Aberdeen, South Dakota, the daughter of Anton and Viola (Crawford) Voeller. She married Major George Hogg on April 15, 1953 in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Ida was a Major in the Salvation Army, retiring in 1994.Ida is survived by her husband of 55 years, Major George of Decatur, IL; children William Bill and wife Kathy of Kirksville, MO, Barbara of Fergus Falls, MN, Gordon and wife Cindy of Ft. Wayne, IN, Kathi of Decatur, IL; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; brother and sisters Richard Voeller and wife Phyllis of Aberdeen, SD, Barbara Brechting of Grand Rapids, MI, Virginia Vinson of Clyde, TX, Ruth Wiefenbach of Sioux Falls, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and five sisters.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com. "
