Homer Toler

Memorial graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 27, in Camp Butler National Cemetery, Riverton, IL. There will be no visitation. Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, is handling the arrangements.Memorials may be made to donors choice.Homer was born May 4, 1925, in Alexander, IL, the son of Thomas Edward and Fromia E. (Upton) Toler. Homer served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He previously worked for Wabash and Norfolk & Southern Railroads as a welding supervisor.Surviving are his children Joyce Toler Mingus of Moweaqua, IL, Dorothy Koshinski of Decatur, IL, and Sandra (Richard) Toler Riley of Decatur, IL. Also surviving are his grandchildren Brent Fitch, Amber Powell, Gabrielle Mingus, Briana Mingus; three great-grandchildren; and nephew Reggie Toler.Homer was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ernest, Doc, and Tom, and sisters Dorothy and Helen.The family would like to thank the nursing staff and employees of Heritage Manor for their loving care given to Homer.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com "
