Hildegard Bonds

Hildegard W. Bonds, 88, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2008, at Imboden Creek Living Center.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 14, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL.Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or to Lutheran School Association.Mrs. Bonds was born December 13, 1919, in Decatur, the daughter of Paul and Caroline (Duscha) Jeschawitz. She married Wayne Pete Bonds in September 1978. He preceded her in death in February 1993. Mrs. Bonds worked as an inspector at G.E. and Taylor Pharmaceutical, retiring in 1984. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and of the V.F.W. Auxiliary.Surviving are her daughters Pamela A. Poland and husband Zeb of Forsyth, IL; Nancy C. Clements and husband David of Wilson, N.C.; grandchildren Andrea OBrien and husband Sean of Wilson, N.C.; Kara Wilkey and husband Ryan of Maroa, IL; Chuck Poland and wife Melissa of Moweaqua, IL; Jodi Poland of Maroa, IL; great grandchildren Andrew and Lindsay Poland of Moweaqua, IL; Mallory OBrien of Wilson, N.C.; and sister Ruth Greene of Decatur.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, five brothers, and great granddaughter Alyssa Poland Selinger.The family would like to thank Imboden for all of their loving care of Hilda.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com "
