Herbert Edward Tuttle, 62, of La Place, IL, died 1:10 a.m., Thursday, August 8, 2013, at Fair Havens Christian Home, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 12, 2013, at Concordia Lutheran Church, Decatur, IL, with visitation 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday, August 11, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church. Herbert was born April 12, 1951, in Decatur, IL, the son of Homer and Maxine (Frisby) Tuttle. He married Evelyn C. Handley on May 24, 1986 in Decatur, IL. Herbert retired from Staley Credit Union and loved cars, going to auctions and flea markets. He was a member of the 60's Days Car Club and charter member of Fun Time Cruisers. He is survived by his wife and children Kriss Henry and husband Greg of Cecilia, KY, Douglas Robert Tuttle of La Place, IL, Emma Carol Tuttle of La Place, IL; grandchildren Kylee Henry and Annie Henry, both of Cecilia, KY; sister Ramona Walker and husband Dan of Decatur, IL; several nieces and nephews; and best friend Paul Diggs. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Robert Stanger, and brother Robert Earl Stanger. "
