Herbert Mullins

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 6 to 8 P.M., Friday, May 28, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL.Herbert was born January 26, 1932, in Holden, West Virginia, the son of John Lee and Maude (Canterbury) Mullins. He married Eileen Evans on May 31, 1964 in Lenore, West Virginia. She preceded him in death on January 4, 1998. Herbert was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in Korea. He was a member of the American Legion Post 134 in Kirby, West Virginia. Herbert worked at F.W. Means and Big Lots.He is survived by his daughters Helen Jordan (David) and daughter Danielle of Rantoul, IL, Teresa Mullins of Decatur, IL; brothers Tennis Mullins (Ernestine) of Pataskala, OH, Charles Mullins (Milda) of Rio, West Virginia.He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Eileen and three sisters.
