Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 29 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will be immediately following at Graceland Cemetery, Decatur.Memorials may be made to Riverside Baptist Church.Helen was born on April 8, 1921, at home in Niantic, IL, to Marion Francis and Arminda (Sullivan) Bailey. She was the eleventh of fourteen children born to this union. She married William Franklin Wilson on December 27, 1944. He preceded her in death.Helen worked at the Decatur Garment Factory for several years. She was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family very much.Helen was a born again Christian and a member of Riverside Baptist Church for over fifty years where she served as a Sunday School teacher and Awana Club leader. She was a past member of Salem Baptist Church where she was the church clerk for many years.Helen is survived by: her son Ronald L. Wilson of Phoenix, AZ; daughter Patricia A. Hall and son-in-law Terry of Forsyth, IL; four grandchildren Mark Hall (Shauna) of Harristown, IL, Michelle (David) Edwards of Springfield, IL, William R. Wilson (Blanca) US Army serving in Germany, and Cody Wilson of Phoenix, AZ; three great-grandchildren Madeline Hall of Heyworth, IL, Bailey Edwards and Cole Edwards of Springfield, IL; brother JR and wife Doris Bailey of Moweaqua, IL, and many nieces and nephews.Her husband, parents, eight brothers, and eight sisters preceded her in death.Mom, you were always there for us and we could not have hand picked a better mom. You will be greatly missed by your family and friends and will be in our hearts forever.The family would like to thank Dr. Dennis Heim, her family doctor for many years and Dr. Anthony McCormack in her later years, and the wonderful caring staff at Imboden Living Center.
