Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Boiling Springs Cemetery.Visitation will be from 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home.Memorials may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital. Helen was born October 4, 1920, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Nelson and Mabel (Hinton) Corrington. She married Carl D. Deyton on March 8, 1942, in Cahokia, MO. He preceded her in death on August 24, 1989.Helen worked as Secretary for Hickory Point Township. She is survived by her children Carla Ketterer and husband Donald of Columbia, MD, Cynthia Boone and husband Jeff of Elizabeth City, N.C., Susan Layton and husband Tony of Decatur, IL; seven grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, and sister Kathryn Strong and husband Jack of Decatur, IL.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl and one grandson.Helens family would like to express special thanks to Fair Haven Christian Home for their special care and kindness toward Helen and her family.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com.
